“These pruners are better than any other hand pruners I've ever owned, and I've owned a lot of them. This tool has a smooth action and easily cuts every piece of shrubbery that I've asked it to prune!”
- Karen L Vandusen from Amazon.com
“Having exhausted yet another pair of pruners (on my 35 roses and assorted bushes) I decided to go for ones with the Friskar's name. In a word "Wow". Not only do these clippers have the precise cutting surface and accuracy I'm used to for my Friskar's cutting implements in the house, but they have an ingenious grip as well. Until you have felt the way these handles work, you cannot believe how comfortable clipping can be. Normally, you slide your hand over the handle to close the clippers. However, these clippers slide along with the natural rotation of your hand. This translates to no blisters. If you do alot of clipping this can be a major relief. I've used these pruners for a year now, in both pruning bushes and roses and they have not twisted or jammed, nor has the lock gummed up. I love the way the handle feels when clipping and am very pleased with the precise cutting action.”

The Corona Clipper 3/4-inch forged bypass pruner features a blade and hook that are individually hand matched for precision performance. This process ensures a close and clean cut with maximum cutting capacity, all-season long. The unit's radial arc bypass blade is replaceable, and features a slant-ground hook, designed with a narrow profile to fit easily into tight spaces. For added strength and durability, the steel blade is fully heat-treated to permit re-sharpening for continued clean cutting, and was designed to hold a precision edge. The hook features a sap groove to remove debris, helping to maintain a smooth cutting action. There's also a precision-machined, self-aligning pivot bolt that adjusts with just one tool for easy adjustability. Additionally, the handles feature non-slip grips for added comfort. The unit comes with a limited lifetime warranty.

Actual customer feedback:
“I never even venture out for a garden job without this in my pockets. I mis-use it for everything from cutting weeds to pruning trees. The design looks "basic", but this really is a very well made product. The blades are sharp and have remained sharp. They haven't rusted - even though I am terrible at taking care of them. The curved blade design is just great - gives you increased cutting power as compared to the "V" shaped blade. I think this is the first gardening tool you really should buy. I'm now trying "Corona" for my other tools - having had good experience with their pruner.”

Actual customer feedback:
“Ever since I got my first Felco pruner, I will not even consider buying any other brand. Not only do they work better than any other brand, they are simple to take apart and clean and replace worn parts. They are even relatively simple to sharpen, although it takes a slightly different touch than your pocket knife or chef's knife. The bottom line is that they work really, really well for years, even without sharpening. Their scissors action is much better than the anvil style. This F-2 model is the most general purpose design and I use it on virtually everything. I will suggest that if, like me, you have relatively small hands, the smaller F-6 model is slightly more comfortable and easier to use for most work. I have both and use the F-6 for heavy duty end of the year pruning and the F-2 throughout the summer for average pruning jobs.”

Actual customer feedback:
“This is the 2nd pair I've owned and these little snips last. The first pair lasted 5 years and are still in use. They're used daily at the garden center where I work and are the favorite tool of all my co-workers. The snips are durable enough to trim everything from bedding plants to hanging baskets to shrubs (butterfly bushes) yet light and responsive enough to be easily handled by those of us with joint problems. The Fiskars small size makes it easy to trim out even the most densely overgrown plants and make deadheading Petunias a breeze. I've tried other snips by various manufacturers and none have worked as well as these. The others have been too bulky, too heavy, too large for delicate trims and/or too tight in the hinge to be used comfortably. Over all the Fiskars Micro-snips are the perfect tool to clean up both houseplants and garden beds.”
